Mein Name ist Nina Nell und ich bin bildende Kuenstlerin und Autorin. Seit meiner Kindheit modelliere ich Skulpturen und schreibe verschiedene Arten von Geschichten. Und heute kann ich mir keinen schoeneren Beruf vorstellen als den Bildern in meinem Kopf eine Form zu geben, die Fantasie in die Realitaet zu holen und ihr Leben einzuhauchen. Darauf, Gedanken und bildliche Vorstellungen Wirklichkeit werden zu lassen, basiert mein ganzes kuenstlerisches Schaffen und es ist eine besondere Leidenschaft von mir meine Skulpturen und Geschichten so realistisch wie moeglich wirken zu lassen. Daher lege ich grossen Wert auf Details. Eine Skulptur ist fuer mich nicht vollkommen, wenn sie, von ihrer Anatomie her, ihrer Bemalung und auch ihrem Gesichtsausdruck, nicht wirklich realistisch wirkt. Und auch durch meine Geschichten empfinde ich erst wahre Freude, wenn sie wirkliche Emotionen im Leser hervorrufen und man in sie hinein tauchen kann und sie real miterlebt. Ich moechte durch meine Kunst die Menschen beruehren und sie mit derselben Begeisterung erfuellen, die ich bei der Arbeit empfinde.

My name is Nina Nell and I`m an artist and author. Since my childhoos, I create One Of A Kind (OOAK) sculptures and write different kind of stories. And today I can´t imagine a more wonderful job than giving the pictures in my imagination a form, to take the fantasy into reality and make it manifest. The whole world of the Nina Nell art depends on taking imagination into reality and it is a big passion of me to create the sculptures and stories as real as possible. That's why I pay great importance on details. To me a sculpture is not perfect, until it's anatomy, painting and facial expression, doesn't really has an authentic affect. Also through my stories I only feel really happy, when they effect real emotions and when people can dive into the story and feel it as if it were real. Through my art I want to touch the people and want them to feel the same enthusiasm that I feel with my work.

Das Schreiben ist eine weitere grosse Leidenschaft von mir. Schon als Kind liebte ich es mir fantastische Geschichten auszudenken und diese aufzumalen oder zu schreiben. Daher lernte ich autodidaktisch das Handwerk des Schreibens und uebte mich darin die Geschichten, die so real in meiner Fantasie stattfanden, ebenso real nieder zu schreiben. Mit den Jahren perfektionierte ich dieses Handwerk und verband es mit meiner spirituellen Weltanschauung "Was der Geist ersinnen kann, das kann er auch erschaffen" und schrieb die Buchserie "Euphoria". Doch auch das Schreiben von Fantasy-Geschichten faszinierte mich schon immer und daher schreibe ich schon seit Langem an mehreren grossen Romanen. Writing is another big passion of mine. Even as a child, I loved it to create fantastical stories in my mind and painted or wrote them down. That's why I learned the trade of writing autodidactic and practiced to write the stories as real, as they happened in my mind. Through the years I perfected this trade and connected it with my spiritual ideology "What ever the mind can conceive and believe, the mind can achieve" and wrote the "Euphoria"-series.But it also always fascinated me to write fantasy-stories and I'm working on some big fantasy-novels at this time. Eine Figur so realistisch herzustellen, dass sie aussieht, als waere sie tatsaechlich echt, ist ebenso faszinierend fuer mich, wie das Schreiben von Geschichten. Ich modelliere die Figuren aus einer hautfarbenen Modelliermasse, die im Backofen gehaertet wird (ProSculpt, SuperSculpey oder/und Fimo). Zuerst gestalte ich ein Drahtgestell, das ich in die Position biege, die auch die Figur zum Schluss haben soll. Dann modelliere ich den Rumpf, die Arme und Beine und den Kopf an den Draht und arbeite die Details mit speziellem Werkzeug genau aus. Ich lege viel Wert darauf, die Figuren so echt wie moeglich aussehen zu lassen und benoetige deshalb fuer die Details wie Finger- und Fussnaegel, Hautfalten, Muskeln, Augen, Ohren und Lippen die meiste Zeit. Die Augen werden meist speziell und seperat von mir hergestellt und beim Modelliervorgang eingesetzt. Ich verwende niemals irgendeine Art von Abdruck oder Form für meine Figuren! Jede ist ein absolutes Einzelstueck und immer anders. Nach dem Modellieren, haerte ich die Figur im Backofen. Zum Schluss bemale ich sie mit Wasser- oder Acrylfarben (oft auch im realistic-skin Effekt, wodurch die Pigmente der Haut zum Vorschein kommen), bekleide sie mit verschiedenen Stoffen und gebe ihr echtes Haar oder Mohair. Manchmal modelliere ich das Haar auch und bemale es dann ebenfalls. Die Farben werden zum Schluss mit Lack ueberzogen, so dass sie haltbar bleiben und schoen schimmern. Bevor ich die Figuren dann verkaufe, bekommen sie noch ein besonderes Erkennungszeichen von mir. Fertig! Nun ist ein neues Unikat geschaffen, das es nur einmal auf der Welt gibt. Normalerweise haben meine Ganzkoerper-Figuren eine Groesse von ca 20 cm, ausgenommen sind die Miniatur-Figuren und die Buesten.

To create a sculpture that realistic, as if it were truly real, is as fascinating for me as writing stories. I sculpt the sculptures with a skin-tone polymer clay that can be hardened in the oven. (ProSculpt, Living Doll or Fimo) At first, I create a wire armature, which I bend in the position the sculpture should have, when it is finished. Then I sculpt the body, the arms and legs, and the head onto the wire and work out the details with special tools. I attach great importance to make the sculptures as real as possible. That is why working out details like finger- and toenails, wrinkles, muscles, ears, eyes and lips are most time-consuming on making the whole sculpture. I create the eyes separately and insert them into the head while I'm sculpting. I never use any kind of molds on making my sculptures! Every one is an absolutely individual item (One Of A Kind) and always different. After sculpting, I harden the sculpture in the oven. In the end, I paint the sculpture with water- or acrylic-colors (mostly with real skin effect, that shows the pigmentation of the skin), clothe them with different materials and give it real hair or mohair of tibetan lambs. Sometimes I sculpt the hair and paint it also. I varnish the colors with laquer, so that they are fixed and to give them a beautiful gleam. Before I sell the sculptures, I give them a special sign from me. Finished! Now, there is created a new unicum, that exists ony once in the world! Normally my sculptures are about 7,8 inch high, but I also sculpt miniatures and busts.

Der Versand der Figuren erfolgt ueber die Deutsche Post (DHL). Ich versende meine Figuren nur ueber Luftpost, ausgenommen innerhalb Deutschlands und Europa. Die Versandkosten variieren je nach Groesse der Figur. Ich verpacke die Figuren so sicher und gut gepolstert, dass absolut gar nichts passieren kann. Zusaetzlich versende ich zu jeder Figur auch ein Zertifikat. --------------- Die Buecher haben eine eigene ISBN und koennen in allen Buch-Shops gekauft werden.

Shipping of the sculptures is raised by German Post (DHL). I only send my sculptures via air-mail, except within Germany and Europe. The shipping costs vary with the size of the sculpture. I pack the sculptures very safe with a lot of cushion, to make sure, that it arrives safe. I also send with every sculpture a Certificate and the according story to the sculpture. ------------------- The books have their own ISBN and you can buy them in every book-shop.
